TI has been very clear about his desire to see 50 Cent in the VERZUZ Battle, something he said the New York rapper privately agreed to before publicly declining the invitation. What started out as a fun and competitive conversation got a little more tense a few hours ago when 50 posted a less than flattering photo of TI’s wife Tiny, mocking him without as much of a comedic tone as we’re used to.
TI’s son King posted a video in which he said “post my mom like your mom isn’t dead yet and put some flowers on that bitch’s grave.” Clearly, it now goes far beyond a competitive discussion.
Now, Tip has shared a minute-long clip on Instagram that sounds like a diss song or a warning about turning 50. He’s in album mode right now, getting ready to release what he calls his final work, so he’s definitely studio ready. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
