Busta Rhymes proved he still has the fastest wits in hip-hop when a doubter tried to test him outside Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, February 19.
The legendary rapper found himself surrounded by paparazzi and fans after watching the New York Knicks lose 126-111 to the Detroit Pistons. That night the Pistons swept New York 3-0 in the regular season.
Someone in the crowd disrespectfully called Busta Rhymes’ head “as big as a ###,” which became a viral video moment. The leader of the Flip Mode squad has no energy whatsoever.
“Yo, real s###. You smell like a bag of someone else’s s###,” Busta shot back without hesitation.
The crowd erupted as the 53-year-old rapper delivered his signature New York attitude.
The incident comes as Busta continues to build momentum around his upcoming collaborations. He recently released a new album, Dillagence 2, produced by the late J Dilla.
The project is a sequel to Busta and Dilla’s original 2007 mixtape of the same name.
