Gloria said she was excited when LeBron James posted a workout video using her music.
The Memphis rapper spoke about the viral moment in an interview with SportsCenter.
“I’m so excited because I love LeBron too,” Gloria said. “So, LeBron is definitely in my top five. He’s tied with Kobe and Brandon [Ingram]”.
The Lakers star posted a video of the workout on Instagram. He was training hard when Gloria’s music played in the background. When LeBron shared the post, Glorilla called it a “great moment.”
She said it was a dream come true to see one of her favorite players use her music.
The Grammy-nominated artist is dating Toronto Raptors star Brandon Ingram. She said her boyfriend now ranks among her top five players, along with LeBron and the late Kobe Bryant.
“I’m a Grizzlies fan because I’m from Memphis, but I’m actually a Lakers fan,” she said. “But now I’m a Raptors fan. I support the Raptors. I would never hold it against my man.”
Gloria discussed her basketball background. She played at MLK High School in Memphis, but said she wasn’t very good at organized basketball.
“I don’t know how I made this team because I used to play street basketball with my brothers, but I was terrible at real basketball,” she said.
Big Glo said becoming a part of the NBA community feels like a dream come true.
“When I used to watch it on TV, I never thought I would be in it and around it,” she said.
