Lil Nas X was spotted shopping for a used refrigerator at an appliance store in South Central Los Angeles on Friday. The 26-year-old rapper wore a white cowboy hat and face mask while shopping.
According to the Daily Mail, Lil Nas X helped load the heavy equipment into his SUV after purchasing it. While out and about, he wore an American flag T-shirt, black shorts and black cowboy boots.
The Star Walkin’ artist stopped at Home Depot after buying a refrigerator. Observers watched as he completed both tasks and then returned home with his new device.
The shopping trip came just weeks before his March 12 preliminary hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court. Hill was arrested Aug. 21 on Ventura Boulevard and faces four felony charges.
LAPD officers arrested the rapper after he was photographed walking down the street wearing white boots and underwear. Video shows him shouting lyrics and making hand gestures to passing cars.
Hill took off his underwear and wore an orange traffic cone on his head during the incident. Before police arrived, he told a bystander he was going to a party.
Police said Hill was naked when he was taken into custody. The rapper allegedly punched three different officers during the arrest.
The Los Angeles Police Department initially charged him with misdemeanor battery on a police officer. Prosecutors later filed three felony counts of battery on a peace officer causing injury and one felony count of resisting an administrative officer.
Hill was taken to the hospital to be evaluated for a possible drug overdose. After receiving treatment, he was returned to police custody.
The rapper pleaded not guilty to all charges at his trial on August 25. He posted $75,000 bail and was released from jail that day.
As part of his bail conditions, the judge ordered Hill to attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings. He has complied with all court requirements since his release.
Hill completed a residential treatment program for mental health issues after his arrest. Sources say he has been working hard to recover and avoid getting into trouble.
If convicted of all charges, the rapper could face up to five years in state prison. His legal team has not commented publicly on the case.
A preliminary hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.
