Donald Trump has called Nicki Minaj “awesome” and praised the Queens rapper as an “amazing person.”
“Nicki Minaj is amazing. She’s an amazing person,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “She was very friendly and she understood what we were doing with the Trump account.”

“We’re helping 18-year-old kids grow up. They’re going to have a lot of money. They’re going to be rich. And she gets it,” President Trump said.
The president has called Meena a supporter from day one.
“She’s been my supporter from the beginning. I think Nicki Minaj is the winner. It’s awesome.”
Just days before the premiere, Nicki Minaj appeared at a Trump Treasury event. During the launch of Trump’s account, she declared herself the president’s “number one fan.”

The rapper said the criticism won’t stop her from supporting Trump.
“The hate or what people say, doesn’t affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more,” she said.

The Trinidad-born rapper revealed she came to the United States illegally when she was five years old. She announced that her citizenship documents would be finalized after the Treasury event.
