Don Toliver has moved on to the next level, as evidenced by the release of his latest album, Octane. Now, he’s teamed up with rappers Yeat and Lyrical Lemonade for a visual treat on “Rendezvous.”
Both artists spend much of the video wearing sparkly masks. In the background, supporting characters wear robes and more of these masks.
If the speculation is correct, some of the scenes appear to be a reference to the Tom Cruise-starring movie Eyes Wide Shut. Or maybe it’s just a game played by the secret cult – as the mask suggests.
The icy look may also have something to do with a bar in the song, “Diamonds on my head, diamonds on my shoes,” which was cleverly exaggerated into a visual metaphor by Lyrical Lemonade. Check out the shiny new video for yourself below!
