Obviously, not only do you need to protect your dog from cars on the road, but you also need to protect FedEx workers. A woman has recounted how a FedEx worker hurt her dog in a viral video. Hundreds of people in the dog’s home state have called for her to take legal action.
Susie (@susiesunshyne) appears to be a pet rescuer of sorts in South Carolina. Her page is flooded with comments about dogs and people needing resources to help care for them. Suzy appears to have bought a van to transport her rescued dogs and seems to be a crazy dog lady – in the best possible way.
It’s unclear who Suzy actually is, as there is no photo of her on her page and her icon appears to be artificially generated. However, it seems many people trusted Suzy enough to donate to some of the dogs she posted. Most recently, Susie posted a video about a dog named Bella, which has received 1.7 million views and 61,700 likes as of this writing.
Bella: Injured after encounter with FedEx driver
A recently released video shows Bella, a black dog, limping around her yard. The text overlay read: “Thanks FedEx for throwing a 48-inch crate out of the truck at a dog.” The caption read: “I had four crates shipped for an upcoming trip. The delivery guy threw them out of the truck at a dog who wasn’t barking or even that close. #FedEx sucks.”
There were more than 1,200 comments, many of which were concerned about Bella’s condition.
“I hope you contact FedEx and file a formal complaint against the driver. This is animal cruelty,” one comment said.
“As a FedEx driver, this is shocking,” someone chimed in. “I look forward to every dog I meet, big or small… friendly or aggressive. They are nicer than most and love unconditionally. It makes me heartbroken.”
Another said: “They should have cameras and I will report it and the driver should be fired. I am a delivery driver myself and I have never thrown anything at an animal and I always respect pets and property.”
Is FedEx harming people’s pets a trend?
It seems Suzy is not alone. Others reported FedEx drivers injuring their dogs. A Tennessee family said a FedEx driver hit their dog and failed to check on the animal, People reported in 2024.
One family member explained: “When [the driver] Just as he was about to leave, he didn’t stop or look twice. I mean, he obviously [saw the dog]. He glanced at the video and then back again. Even when he bumped into him, he kept going; he never stopped. My aunt and uncle actually witnessed him fly up our driveway and almost hit their dog. “
Even more tragically, in the summer of 2025, a Texas family reported and filmed a FedEx driver beating their dog. Unfortunately, the impact resulted in the dog’s death, local news channels reported.
While Susie said in the update video that Bella was doing better, it’s still unacceptable that this kind of abuse occurred.
AlHipHop has reached out to FedEx for comment via email and Susie via TikTok private messages and comments. We will update this story if either party responds.
