21 Savage and Fivioforeign are complaining after Fivio questioned the Atlanta rapper’s street cred in a recent interview.
On Thursday (January 22), Fivio was a guest on DJ Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast. During the sit-down, they discussed the drama surrounding 21 Savage’s condemnation of the street movement, when Fivio first debunked claims that 21 Savage was a street gangster.
“What makes you think Savage is a street nigga? He said fuck the streets,” Fivio questioned. “Where are the street niggas? In Atlanta? … They’re all in caps. You know what? Trust me. It’s all an act.”
21 Savage heard Fivio’s comments and responded on Instagram Live.
“Fivioforeign, shut up, nigga,” 21 snapped. “Stop saying my muthafu** names… don’t think because Savage talks about something positive that it’s ‘Oh, let’s talk about Savage every day.'” No, it’s not that. You guys will still have your fill of cheers. Straighten up. “
Fivio responded to 21 on Friday (January 23).
“I said what I said,” Fivio wrote on his Instagram Story. “No back and forth wan*gga saying F in the street. N*ggas ab*tch eating ad*ck p*ssy @21savage.”
Back in December, 21 Savage tried to start a positive movement by condemning the street.
21 posted on X, “Fuck the streets, we don’t get shit, we get trauma from shit,” while urging Thugger to reconcile with Gunna.
While rappers like Young Thug and G Herbo are dismayed by the sentiment, others are pushing back against the trend.
