T.I. has begun rolling out his upcoming album, which features a new look and a new single titled “Let Em Know.”
On January 17, Tip announced his return in a post on Instagram. The video begins with the Atlanta rapper sitting in a barber’s chair before his funk drops to the floor. The next clip shows off TI’s new single blade.
“Get ready. The time has come,” Pharrell narrates at the beginning of the music video trailer for his new single “Let Them Know,” which he produced.
Tip captioned the post: “He’s Baaaaaaack!!!!! #LetEmKnow.”
Officially released on Sunday (January 18), the energetic track finds Kang working hard on Skateboard P’s chords and heavy bass.
“Run to the checkered flag, run through the red light/Twelve catch me, don’t stop ’til I’m dead, right,” TI raps. “Ride till the sun comes up, don’t worry no sleep time/Won’t catch the bitches riding with me, unless they fire, better know/Learned all the way to Crenshaw from Atlanta’s west side or bedside.”
The new single will appear on Tip’s upcoming album Kill The King. The new record will be TI’s first album since 2020’s The LIBRA. The Grand Hustle owner has spent the past few years trying to make a career as a stand-up comedian. Now, he’s back in album mode.
