One of the best in Southern rap music, TI is finally making a comeback. But that’s not the craziest part. What’s really surprising is that Pharrell produced this song under the name Sk8brd P.
The song is called “Let Them Know,” and true to its title, it’s both an announcement and a statement. T.I. clearly wants people to know he’s back for good, and nothing cuts through the noise like Pharrell’s great beats.
The trailer is also a statement – showing T.I. shaking off his funk and successfully achieving it by Pharrell for the iconic 4 count. Apparently, after criticism of TI’s attempts at stand-up comedy, the rapper quickly realized where his strengths lie.
Excited to be back in the booth, this might really be a throwback to an era where TI dominated and was unlike any other. Check out the song below!
