A$AP Rocky appears to take issue with Drake on new song “Stole Ya Flow.”
The Harlem, New York, rapper released his first album in eight years, Don’t Be Dumb, on Friday (January 16). The latest installment in the rapper’s discography features 17 songs, including the song “Stole Ya Flow,” in which Pretty Flacko appears to target Drizzy.
“First you stole my flow, so I stole your bi**h/I can’t trust any soul but my pole and my baby,” Rocky raps in the chorus.
“When you get BBL, luckily we ain’t shameless/Throwing dirt on Rocky’s name, turn around and copy the game,” the A$AP Mob co-founder rhymes on the first verse.
“You’re just a sensitive woman, still wrapped up in your own feelings/You bit the image, my woman, I gotta change it,” he continues.
Rocky and Drake worked together early in their careers but have been at odds over the past few years. Things came to a head in November 2023, when Aubrey appeared to take issue with Rihanna on For All the Dogs’ song “Fear of Heights.” The following January, Rocky appeared to respond to Kid Cudi’s song “Wow.” Rocky then doubled down on Future and Metro Boom’s song “Show of Hands.” Drake hit back at Rocky with songs “Family Matters” and “It’s Up.”
There has been no love since then. Rocky discussed the origins of beef with Aubrey on an episode of the Popcast podcast on Thursday (January 15).
“People start out as friends and then become enemies,” Rocky said. “It looked like they got upset with you and started shooting at you. I think that’s what led to any misunderstanding or whatever. It really wasn’t smoke.”
He also pointed out that “Stealing Yaliu” is about anyone who thinks it has anything to do with them.
