After Derek Jeter tournament disaster, Ja Rule turns golf mishap into family simulator project

Ja Rule is building a golf simulator at home and joking that his “calves are known around the world” following Derek Jeter’s viral incident at the tournament.

Ja Rule is playing golf indoors after hitting a wild shot at the Derek Jeter Invitational last month that had everyone ducking under cover.

The rapper has been posting about building a golf simulator room at his house, which might be his smartest move since the December 16 incident in the Bahamas.

An incident in the Baha Mar in December left Golfweek’s Adam Schupak and other photographers scrambling because his tee shot went sideways instead of straight down the fairway.

“During the Celebrity Shootout at the Derek Jeter Invitational, Ja Rule’s tee shot nearly took me and a bunch of photographers out,” Schupak wrote.

But Ja Rule hasn’t given up on golf entirely and is doubling down on a home simulator setup, showing that he’s serious about improving his game.

“Now building my golf simulator room in my house for my show, what brand should I buy??? Trackman full swing who has the best simulator?” Ja Rule asked his fans.

“So in my short four-year golf career, I’ve made two holes for eagle, a hole-in-one, and I’d say I’ve done pretty well,” Ja Rule said.

When you think about it, this simulator project makes perfect sense – no photographers to worry about, no crowds to accidentally bump into, just pure practice time, no stress.

His social media posts show him taking the situation with good humor while taking productive steps to improve his game.
