YoungBoy Never Broke Again will not face charges after drugs were discovered in the vehicle he was a passenger in during a recent traffic stop in Utah.
According to Utah’s KUTV report, on Wednesday (December 31), a Utah Highway Patrol stopped a car on Interstate 15 with YB, a female passenger and a male driver in the car. During a search of the vehicle, drugs and a large amount of cash were found. The driver and female passenger admitted the drugs belonged to them, police said, and YB was not charged.
“I do believe there was money in the car, but it didn’t appear to have any connection to drugs,” said UHP Sgt. Mike Alexander interviews KUTV. “In consultation with the Utah County Attorney’s Office, it was decided to screen both individuals for charges of possession of these illegal drugs.”
Authorities did not release the names of the two people accused of drug trafficking.
XXL has reached out to NBA YoungBoy’s attorney for comment.
NBA YoungBoy concluded his highly successful MASA tour in November and has been living in Utah since 2022. In 2024, he was arrested while on house arrest and charged with running a prescription drug fraud ring and possessing a firearm in the state. He reached plea deals in both cases and was sentenced to 23 months in prison on the firearms charges. He was released last April and pardoned by President Trump in May.
