NLE Choppa announced her engagement to Erica Ravén at the end of the holiday season with a lot of positive emotions.
The Memphis rapper, often referred to as “NLE The Great,” announced the proposal on Instagram, posting a series of brief images that showed him getting down on one knee to present an engagement ring to his now-fiancée.
In the first photo, Erica Ravén is visibly shocked during the proposal.
In a later photo, she raised her hand to the camera and showed off a diamond ring, sending the timeline crazy. The caption simply said: “Now the gang.” All other images have been removed from NLE Choppa’s IG.

The engagement went viral on social media, with congratulations coming from around the world.
Rumors that Joppa and Erica were dating began circulating a few months ago after the two shared affectionate posts online. In October, they posted a photo together, sparking speculation of a possible relationship. A few weeks ago, Choppa retweeted a photo of the two kissing that Ravén shared on her Instagram Story. Neither responded to the chatter.
The news comes as the rapper is known for his feud with NBA YoungBoy. In October, Choppa released “KO” and criticized NBA YoungBoy for having a negative influence on young listeners.
Choppa launched “Hello Revenge” in November, culminating in a tense clash between NBA Ben 10 and NBA OG 3rd in Houston. However, that all seems to be in the past as participation now dominates the rapper’s narrative.
