Following an appearance at the Met Gala and a stellar collaboration with Lanvin, Future has officially become a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton, adding another high-profile fashion title to his resume.
The Atlanta rapper, known for his chart-topping music and ever-evolving personal style, attended Louis Vuitton’s spring 2026 men’s show in Paris last June.
But his dramatic transformation at the 2025 Met Gala, where he debuted a simple look sans his signature braids in a custom Louis Vuitton outfit by Pharrell Williams, raised eyebrows and signaled a new era for the rapper.
Future’s appointment as a Louis Vuitton ambassador comes after years of building credibility in the fashion industry.
In 2023, he served as Lanvin’s first guest creative director and launched the Lanvin Lab capsule series. Featuring men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, the collection reflects his unique approach to layering and detailing.
His creative connection with Pharrell goes back ten years.
The two collaborated on the 2014 single “Move That Dope,” a connection that may have played a role in Future being chosen as one of Vuitton’s “House Friends,” a title also held by Jude Bellingham, Tyshawn Jones, and Tahar Rahim.
Louis Vuitton praised Future in a statement, saying he “embodies Louis Vuitton’s core values of creativity, artistry and a pioneering spirit that resonates with an international audience.”
The brand added that his “unique style and creative vision” make him “a valuable addition to the Louis Vuitton family.”
With 11 No. 1 albums, including “We Don’t Trust You” and “DS2,” Future continues to shape hip-hop while expanding his influence in the fashion industry.
His collaboration with Louis Vuitton is in line with the brand’s current artistic direction under Pharrell, who emphasizes cultural relevance and cross-genre collaboration.
Louis Vuitton has not revealed what projects Future will take on in his new role, but said it “eagerly looks forward to embarking on an inspiring and innovative journey with the rapper.”
Future’s ambassador status was confirmed after appearing at the Louis Vuitton Spring 2026 fashion show in Paris.
