Bad Bunny has become Spotify’s top global artist of 2025 for the fourth time, having held the title of Spotify’s top global artist of 2025 in 2020, 2021 and 2022, with 19.8 billion global plays this year. The global hit song of 2025 is Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ hit “Die With A Smile”, which was played more than 1.7 billion times worldwide in 2025 alone, while Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS is the most played album.
In the US, Taylor Swift, Drake, Morgan Wallen and Kendrick Lamar are the most played artists, while Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther (with sza),” Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” and Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” are the most played songs.
