Late Friday night, Drake posted two new photos on Instagram, a sparkling selfie and a full-length mirror shot, and within minutes, the internet turned it into a discussion.
Wearing a rhinestone-covered cream beanie, plush fur coat and baggy khaki pants, Drake posed with a serious face and a downward camera angle that some users said looked more like a perfume ad audition than stylish tenderness.
Comments came in quickly, with people comparing the beanie to DIY holiday decorations or something from Michaels’ “Special Occasions” section.
His facial expression, with his pursed lips and tense expression, also attracted attention. One user wrote that he looked like he was “practicing a serious expression in the mirror,” while another said he looked like someone “trying to remember if they left the stove on.”
🚨 DRAKE posted a selfie with a caption that simply said “…” 😭
Bros survived Kendrick, ankle monitors, UMG lawsuits, and Canadian winters with this haircut… only to hit us with the most depressed duckface known to man.

“Brother survived Kendrick, ankle monitors, UMG lawsuits, and Canadian winter haircuts…only to hit us with the most depressing duck face known to man,” one fan said.
Drake and his Instagram photos have long been a source of light-hearted commentary. When he debuted his heart-shaped haircut in 2021, social media quickly turned it into a meme factory, comparing it to Valentine’s Day clipart.
In October, his voluminous curls sparked more jokes, with users saying he looked ready to star in a 2000s R&B video. His red leather suit paired with chrome nails became a multi-day meme marathon, with people calling him “expressive,” “experimental” and “committed to aesthetics, no matter what it is.”
These new photos follow the same pattern:
Drake posted something he clearly liked, and the internet was filled with humor that felt more funny than cruel.
Will Drake’s face be stuck like this forever? I don’t know if he intentionally makes that look in every photo, or if his face is posted that way because of his plastic surgery.
