Yes, it was Michael Jackson who transformed the global marketplace of entertainment, culture, vision, fashion, dance, philanthropy, and pop music itself. He was trying to suggest that MJ was limited, while he and others were striving to be “versatile” and expand creatively beyond musical boundaries. As soon as this sentence appeared on the screen, it set off the Internet. What was he thinking?

Retribution is immediate and relentless. Cudi deletes posts faster than Flash. But here’s the thing. Deleting the post doesn’t erase the moment. No one bought it. Drag action begins and flourishes.

People are confused. First, Michael Jackson was “more than just music.” This man defined an entire era. He’s a producer, a songwriter, a visionary. He invented the short film music video. He mastered dance in a way that we are still figuring out. He has placed humanitarian work at the forefront of pop culture. He expands everything he touches. As a dancer, Kid Cudi couldn’t even lift his lower body. Michael Jackson is indeed located in the National Dance Museum and Hall of Fame. It’s like comparing the solar system to a lightbulb, Cudi and MJ.

I kept asking myself the same question: What did Cady Boy smoke? What was he drinking? Who let him tweet without adult supervision? He threw a stone and hid his hand. At least stand on the hill you choose to climb, even if it’s a cliff. ha!
