The Legend Has It… The slate of albums coming out of Mass Appeal this year are incredible and have given a variety of hip-hop legends the chance to shine in ways we don’t often see. Next up is De La Soul, who will be releasing “Cabin in the Sky” tonight. We had the chance to hear this song at a listening event in London last night and it was incredible.
When the lineup was announced in April, fans were rightfully excited that Nas and DJ Premier were finally joining forces for a collaborative album. Now, we finally know when it will drop.
Last night DJ Premier announced at his He’s The Preemo, I’m The Chemist show in Bristol with Alchemist that the record will be released on December 12, with just three weeks to go. Check out a clip from the announcement below.
