50 Cent immediately trolled Starz on social media after the network reported a $53 million loss and a significant drop in revenue.
The hip-hop mogul and TV producer took to Instagram to tease the struggling premium service.
“Look what happens when I stop working,” he wrote. “Let’s make STARZ great again. MSGA.”

According to the “Hollywood Reporter”, just hours after Starz released its third-quarter 2025 earnings report, the company’s revenue fell 8% year-on-year, from $347 million to $321 million.
Starz executives blame the financial slump on a variety of factors, including its ongoing split with parent company Lionsgate.
But the numbers paint a bleak picture for a platform that once relied heavily on 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television to drive subscriber interest.
The “Power” series is a cornerstone of the network’s lineup and remains one of the few shows that performs consistently.

However, the relationship between 50 Cent and Starz has been strained over the years, marred by public spats including scheduling delays, contract disputes and creative disagreements.
As early as 2022, 50 Cent announced that he was abandoning his overall deal with Starz.
Although he retains the title of executive producer on existing series, he’s made it clear that he’s no longer good at acting. That same year, he urged viewers to boycott the network until his show was back on the air.
In August, he bluntly said “goodbye” to Starz after it reported a $42.5 million loss and declining subscriber numbers.
The writing was on the wall, but Jackson’s latest post feels like the final nail in the coffin.
With 50 Cent now publicly distanced himself and the network bleeding money, Starz’s future in the competitive streaming space is looking increasingly precarious.
