Blueface recently apologized on-air to the man he shot and killed in Las Vegas in 2022.
Blue was released from prison on Monday night (November 3) after serving nearly two years in prison, and was shredded with DDG the next day on Sunday (November 2). During the sit-down, Blue answered questions from fans, one of which asked him what he missed most during lockdown. Blue said to his children, revealing that he regrets an incident that almost led to him going to jail.
“I should have been sitting in the house. I didn’t have to go to the club that night, put my hands on that man and shoot him,” Blueface said of the 2022 shooting outside a Las Vegas club for which he was initially charged with attempted murder. “I didn’t have to shoot that guy. I could have been at home.”
“I’m sorry, bro,” he added. “I didn’t mean to shoot, man. If you see this, please forgive me, man. This is a real apology.”
The 28-year-old rapper went on to claim that he attended “civilization” classes while in prison to help him control his temper.
Blueface was arrested in November 2022 and accused of shooting Kentabius Traylor outside the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club near the Las Vegas Strip. In July 2023, Blueface entered into a plea agreement that reduced charges for shooting and discharging a firearm into or into an occupied building. He was sentenced to three years’ probation and placed on probation for two to five years. Blue was also ordered in a lawsuit to pay more than $13,000 to the owners of the now-defunct club.
Blueface was jailed in connection with the incident last January, but he turned himself in after violating probation in a 2021 assault case. In August of the same year, he was sentenced to four years in prison. He served about 22 months in prison and was released over the weekend.
