Drake took to Instagram on Thursday night (October 16) to show off a rare Rolex Daytona “Barbie” watch that is said to be worth around $1 million.
The post included a series of photos of a pink Rolex watch with a bright pink sapphire bezel, a model known to collectors as the Rolex Daytona “Barbie.”
In one image, Drake is standing in an elevator wearing a watch and holding a laptop. Another photo shows a close-up of this unique piece. He captioned the post: “I have this Barbie on my wrist where’s the Stasi doll.”

According to Esquire, only 10 pieces of this coveted model were produced. While Rolex has not disclosed pricing, it is estimated to retail for around £310,000 ($417,219). On the secondary market, it could be worth £700,000 ($941,430) or more. Other famous owners include soccer star Lionel Messi and actor Mark Wahlberg, both of whom are known for their extensive collections of luxury watches.
Drake has a lot of security measures in place when he travels, which is probably smart. Posting valuables on social media was the root cause of Pop Smoke’s 202o murders. Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian was also a victim of a robbery. In 2016, five men disguised as police officers broke into her suite at the Hôtel de Pourtalès, overpowered the concierge and forced him to take them into her room.
The attackers zip-tied Kardashian’s hands, gagged her and held her at gunpoint while demanding jewelry, including West’s $4 million engagement ring and other valuables worth a total of about $10 million.
Drake’s social media activity comes as he prepares for the release of his upcoming album Iceman, which he has been teasing in 2025. The album launch includes tracks such as “Which One”, “What Did I Miss?” and Dog House as well as his Iceman YouTube series.
When “The Iceman” arrives, Drake will unsuccessfully file a lawsuit against his parent company, Universal Music Group, over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”
