Kylie Jenner thrust into the music world’s spotlight on Monday night when she released her first official song, “Fourth Strike,” with Los Angeles duo Terror Jr., marking a return to her Kylie Jenner persona and reigniting long-running rumors about her secret musical ambitions.
The 28-year-old entrepreneur dropped the mid-tempo R&B collaboration on her YouTube channel, delivering breathy vocals during the song’s third verse and crooning “King Kylie” near the end. Earlier in the day, she teased the release with cover art on Instagram, sparking speculation among her many fans.
“Strike 4” features lines from Jenner like “One strike, two strikes, get me in the mood” and “I just wanna tell you I’m sorry.” She continues, “Touch me, baby, tell me I’m your baby / Put your name on me / Cross the line, I might do it again / Do it on purpose just to see how it turns out.”
The song quickly drew mixed reactions online. Some praised the unexpected drop, while others were less impressed. One X user @stargirlhoursx2 posted, “King AutoTune is so embarrassing.” Another chimed in, slamming the caption, writing: “I thought you were out after 3.”
Jenner’s connection to Terror Jr (formed by Lisa Vitale and David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine) dates back to 2016, when conspiracy theories claimed she was the anonymous vocalist behind their debut single “Three Strikes.” Although she denied involvement at the time, speculation never fully died down.
“Kylie’s” alter ego, a reference to Jenner’s edgy 2014 aesthetic, has made a comeback in recent weeks. The revival includes re-releasing several iconic Kylie Cosmetics products from the era, in keeping with the nostalgic vibe of her musical debut.
“Strike 4” was released on October 14, 2025, via Jenner’s official YouTube channel.
