Pooh Shiesty’s attorney is clearing the air after Wack 100 claimed the Memphis, Tennessee, rapper was a snitch in his gun case.
Vinnie’s lawyer Bradford Cohen shared a post on Instagram on Friday (October 10) in response to Rat’s accusations
“The allegation that Vinnie gave up information in this case is outrageous,” Cohen said. “How stupid he was… Long story short, Vinnie Shesty didn’t give up on anyone. We have never cooperated with the government. Our defense is that we blame the alleged victim. The victim was trying to rob Vinnie and his crew, and that’s why the gun was present.”
Cohen said Vinnie received a lighter sentence because the victim allegedly had a gun and ammunition in his car.
“It was a great job of his attorneys to cooperate,” Cohen added. “None of the defendants in that case lost their temper at anyone. Because there was no one to lose their temper with.”
Cohen’s post comes after Wack 100 claimed to have received documents earlier this week that it said showed Pooh Shiesty cooperated with prosecutors when he was arrested following a robbery and shooting in Belle Harbor Keys, Florida, in 2020.
“Look what they sent me,” Wack 100 told DJ Akademiks during a recent livestream. “I don’t know what triggered them. They sent the documents. Look what they said.”
Vinnie pleaded guilty in 2022 to gun conspiracy charges related to the case and was sentenced to 63 months in federal prison. Vinnie behaved well and completed a home-based drug treatment program and was released from prison on Tuesday (October 7) after serving more than three years.
