Didi was sentenced in his criminal case. However, he still reportedly has nearly 70 pending civil sexual abuse lawsuits.
On October 3, Puff was sentenced to 50 months in prison for prostitution charges related to his well-known federal criminal case. The bad boy tycoon’s lawyer still has enough hands to fight dozens of lawsuits accusing Didi of sexual assault, a history that dates back to 1991.
According to USA Today, 70 lawsuits have been filed so far, of which CBS reported that nearly 70 are still active. Many lawsuits have the same Mo, with most alleged victims claiming they were invited to join a party hosted by Diddy, where they were given a drink and later woke up during or after Diddy or someone else’s sexual assault.
Most of the lawsuits were filed by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, who claimed 125 people were willing to file complaints against Puff last year. In Casey’s case, a few lawsuits have been settled or have been completely dismissed.
Didi’s lawyers denied all civil charges.
“Mr. Coms and his legal team are confident in the facts and integrity of the judicial process,” Diddy’s team said in a statement. “In court, facts will prevail: Mr. Coms has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone, including men or women, adults or minors.”
Didi was sentenced to four years and two months in prison for violating the Mann Act last Friday. His attorneys plan to appeal the judgment.
