Aubrey O’Day calls on the music industry to abuse its power as Sean Diddy combs were sentenced to more than four years in federal prison for prostitution-related charges.

The former Danity Kane member posted a sharp message on social media after being sentenced by a 55-year-old hip-hop man tycoon who was convicted of two counts of transporting individuals to prostitution.

Although the jury cleared the combs that caused the potential life sentence and the sex trafficking charges, the belief and sentence still dealt a serious blow to his legacy.

“Let it be a warning reminder for young people and aspiring people who pursue their dreams. The real warning is not the testimony that the jury may doubt yours, nor is it the years that the court’s ruling code may not reflect the suffering you have suffered.”

She continued: “The real warning is: when someone is in the position of power, your boundaries or demands that you exceed what you ask for, but rather walk away without looking back. No dream, no matter how bright you are, can exceed the pain and exploitation that may be left behind.”

O’Day, 41, did not testify at Combs’ trial, but spoke publicly about his past experiences while they were making the band on MTV.

On the 2024 Crisis Queen podcast, she said the comb “sayed in front of the camera that he hated it, but he got off the camera and told me all the ways I needed to be groomed correctly, like my toenails.”

She described his behavior as part of the “abuse cycle” and added: “With Diddy, I saw multiple aspects of him. But I don’t know who I’m even talking to… there’s always something going on.”

O’Day highlighted the imbalance in the consequences of those who abuse their power in the pretrial statement.

“Those who abuse their power, even when exposed, suffer much less consequence than they will cause to their victims,” she said. “Protect yourself in the first sign of coercion or misconduct. If there is any problem, trust your instinct and remove yourself from the situation. You have more happiness than any opportunity.”

O’Day also expressed support for Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, whose 2023 lawsuit helped spark a federal investigation.

Before the sentencing, Oji urged the court to impose punishment to ensure responsibility and allow rehabilitation. “The court clearly recognizes the potential risks he still poses to society,” she told the media.

Combs built Bad Boy Records with artists like the infamous Big, Mase, Black Rob and others, and they will receive 12 months of honor.

He was also fined $500,000 and will be released by supervisors five years after the sentence.
