Didi was sentenced to 50 months in prison three months after being convicted of two counts of traffic convictions for prostitution.
Diddy appeared in court on Friday (October 3) for formal sentence at Manhattan Federal Court. During the debate over the past few weeks, Judge Arun Subramanian concluded that Puff should take 50 months for his crime, law and crime network reports, and Puff should take 50 months.
According to an Inner City Press, the judge also fined $500,000, including paying for jail. No compensation, but the confiscation reflected in the order. There is a fine of $5,000 under regulations, with a special assessment of $200.
Diddy’s sentencing began at 10 a.m. and included a full-day impact statement and arguments from both sides. Diddy’s complete letter to the judge asking for leniency has been released. The prosecutor believes that the judge can consider innocence constitutionally, including beatings of Cassi and other violent acts, and the judge agrees.
Prior to the sentencing, Judge Subramanian was tasked with several character letters submitted through prosecution and defense, including a memorandum of personal visits from Yung Miami, and notes from opposing Cassie Ventura, detailing the trauma she suffered at the hands of the legendary tag owner. Diddy’s new trial motion was denied earlier this week.
The ruling came three months after Diddy was convicted in July, a federal law that illegally engaging individuals to prostitution across states and across states after a widely publicized trial. The government accused Diddy of three cases of compelling women to participate in drug-powered power with male prostitutes through fear, force and coercion. However, bragging was acquitted for sexual trafficking and extortion plots.
Diddy faces up to 20 years in prison on two charges. After initially proposing a 51-63-month prison sentence, the prosecution recommended that the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment be sentenced to 135 months in the days before the sentence. Diddy’s lawyers have asked the judge to sentence 14 months to prison, and Diddy has served in prison for one year since his arrest in September last year.
