Cardi b relies on faith and mother’s prayers after sensing what she calls “weird” and “dark energy.”
The Grammy-winning rapper said she felt more and more negative emotions since she announced her expectations, prompting her to seek spiritual protection for herself and her unborn children.
“I called my mom the other day to pray for me and my kids because since I announced I was pregnant, I feel like a lot of people and women have come out of people and women,” she said.
Cardi B looks forward to her first child with Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The rapper revealed her pregnancy earlier this month and discussed how Diggs can make her feel safe while preparing for her new album and tour.
Cardi B has three other children, and she is about to become an ex-husband. She told her followers that she thought many had suspected her latest pregnancy before being confirmed.
But after it was made public, she noticed that the energy shift felt hostile.

“It’s funny because I know you all know I’m pregnant because obviously everyone knows I’m.
The Bronx-born rapper said she felt particularly about being targeted by other women, and she believes some of them want to cause harm to their unborn children.
“There are a lot of weird women who want you to have weird things about your kids like stillbirth, death, jogging, you know what I’m talking about? I feel like that energy. I feel like people wear it on me.”
To protect herself, Cardi says she turns to her faith and spiritual practice.
She often read the Bible aloud at home when she feels nervous or negative emotions. She added: “I personally think nothing is stronger than mother’s prayers.”
Cardi B has been open to her spiritual side in the past, but this time she uses it as a shield against the toxic reaction of pregnancy.
The rapper said she is doing everything she can to stay rooted.
