Ice Cube continues on music and tours, but there is a disturbing rumor recently.
The hip-hop legend’s tour bus was reportedly attacked while he performed at the Moda Center. According to some reports, the bus was bombed. Other reports also characterize electrical fires or accidents.
Thankfully, the cubes in the incident were not hurt. Authorities are now studying surveillance footage from nearby cameras to see what actually happened.
So let’s start with the cruelest rumors.
Some people speculate online that someone may have confused the large “ice cube” brand on the side of the vehicle with the imperialist Federal Immigration ICE. I saw evidence of online chats that showed militants were trying to attack “ice”.
I find this ridiculous for a number of reasons. However, this is 2025, and strange things are actually what we do. It would be interesting if it didn’t involve “fire” and “bombs”. In his case, ice does not boil down to the “unfortunate” theory.
“I’m not using this incident as a personal attack. Such a coward would burn the property of anyone there at that time,” the Ice Cube told in a statement.
If it was an “attack”, I think they knew who they were attacking. Currently, Portland authorities call it an active investigation. Is this a random act of vandalism, is it a politically motivated attack or is it just some kind of Poso who thinks they are fighting the “ice”?
Either way, this is another sign of the times. crazy. To be sure: the streets may be cold, but the bus attacking the Ice Cube is another icy ignorance.
