Jay Electronica drowned out new music by abandoning four new projects over the weekend.
It has been five years since the New Orleans rapper launched his recent work, Written Testimony and Act 2: Noble Patents (Turn) . Things changed when he released four surprise projects in three days. On September 18, Jay re-released his 2020 album “The The Turn”. However, the new version omits the tracks “Better On Tune” and “10,000 Lotus Petals”
The next day, he published A at the speed of his dream EP and his new album “Written Testimony: Flyer”. He conducted eight song projects on Sunday (September 21), “Written Testimony: The Planet of Residence.”
Jay Election is known as one of the most elusive rappers. Following the 2007 mixtape “Act One: Eternal Sunshine” (Oath), his breakthrough single “Exhibition C” was released in 2009. The following year, he signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Records. After that, he almost became a mythical figure in hip-hop. It will be another decade until 2020 when he releases his long-awaited debut album, Written Testimony. Several songs from the album are from Jay-Z.
