The rapper’s chance was a widespread immigration raid in Los Angeles and much of the United States at the request of Donald Trump.
The Chicago rapper’s speech at the Cruz show did not hide his feelings about the highly controversial raid on the ICE.
“It’s really disgusting. I think we’re just in a place where people are afraid to really fight the system.
Opportunity added: “I think we’re just in a place where we feel helpless at times and they don’t know how to fight. My voice and my pen are my gifts, you know? And then on the other side, my body has my body and one day I’m going to have to revolutionize my body. I hope it’s not going to be fast soon. I have kids. I have kids.”
He continued: “The competition is already very late. We are now in the fall of the empire. That’s how we grow up, we are radical kids who happen to be in our 30s.
Ice Cube also recently called a raid across Los Angeles: “It’s a whole lot of different situations as far as immigration goes.”
“But seeing people disrespect for people like that, the federal government is just too heavy, and the disrespect is going to churches, weddings, kicking people out of those schools. It’s like guys, you’re all over the board.”
The rapper and actor also said, “Then the country is going to go around. First of all, it’s cool, that’s not… like, like, how can someone keep up with what’s going on? It’s sad. Sad. I can’t wait for this period. I don’t know how we’re going to end.
