Anderson Paak admits he begged Dr. Dre to appear in the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
That year’s event saw performances by Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Paak 50 Cent, appearing as drummers.
The Silk Voice star sat down to chat with the drink champion, revealing how he fixed his slots on stage.
He said: “They have dropped the Super Bowl flyer. I’m not on that shit.
“I just hit Dre.
Then, Paak recalls his thoughts on drums while performing Lose Yourself in Eminem: “They are well-planned, without obstacles. It’s a big moment. It’s definitely a big moment. I was like, ‘ Should I smile?’ I can’t help it. Then, you can see, the biggest smile I’ve tried.”
Kendrick Lamar then returned to the Super Bowl stage three years later, earning his record-breaking performance, which was also a guest appearance by SZA.
Samuel L.
He said on the crazy sad bad podcast of Paloma Faith: “I don’t know what they’re doing. It’s a little unhappy because until I looked up and looked up and I looked at that stage, I was gone, I went, ‘Oh, damn, that’s a banner. Ah, fuck, we’re revolutionaries.” Because I didn’t listen or pay attention.”
Jackson appears throughout the show, playing Uncle Sam’s version, essentially telling Kendrick’s performance.
Serena Williams and Serena Williams and Mustard also briefly introduced relief during the show, and if the controversy is related to Drake’s mention of Kendrick’s beef, it’s a contribution of “not like us”.
In the actual performance of “Don’t Like Us”, Kendrick self-censored the “Certified Pedophilia” series, but smiled at the camera as he spoke: “Say Drake, I heard you like you’re young / you’re better off not going to either / you go to any / you, don’t go to any / [bitch] That talks to him, they are in love/just make sure you hide the little lady from him. ”
