Diddy received bad news about prostitution-related charges ahead of his fall sentencing date, as he was denied bail after multiple attempts.
Didi denies bail again while waiting for verdict
On Monday (August 4), Justice Arun Subramanian issued a ruling after Didi’s legal team’s second attempt was ahead of the sentence on October 3. The ruler wrote: “The comb cannot satisfy his burden to show the right to release.”
Diddy, who was convicted on two counts of traffic, was denied in July, but he was not guilty of more serious sexual trafficking and extortion conspiracy. Puff’s lawyer argued in the latest bail motion that Diddy was the only person to be jailed for the crime.
“Shaan Coms should not be jailed for this behavior,” their application reads. “In fact, he may be the only person currently in prison in the U.S. because he didn’t even have sex with his escort himself because he and his girlfriend hired adult male escorts.
Before being released on bail again, prosecutors successfully argued that Didi was a danger to the community and a flight risk.
