Even the Pagans are the horror core duo, composed of Pennsylvania Commander illtemper & Detroit senior King Gordy. Founded in 2021 with the full-length debut and horror story EP, they will continue to issue the unpleasant Never Die and the weird God trilogy of God until they form WIC KIDS with Donnie Menace & Grewsum respectively. A few months ago, a 2 Album deal was signed with Lyrikal Snuff Production, and the Pagan is ready to make his debut on the record label.
The first song “Dig” released by J. Reno talks about not finding something you wish to get to know in depth after introducing an open air opener, and the guitar/trap cross “cancel” introduces the topic of cancel culture, which Cormega calls the power of abuse, and he is not wrong. Stir in a crazy reunion with heaven for a rap-rock sequel to “King” that brings horror music to your speakers, while “Choose” talks about choosing 1 of 6,000,000 Ways to Death.
Crazy poetry joins Illtemper & Gordy “What do you think?” in response to the crazy way for those who speculate that they use some tremolo in the booming bap instrument, and then replace tremolo with piano to talk about them is inevitable. “Fear Us” brings together Boom Bap & Horrorcore’s lyric poems, explaining why they should be afraid of when it comes to “dirt” featuring Nasaan & Seuss Mace, finding the quartet warns not to bother them.
After the shock value “Coby Gets Raped” skit, “Tu Weered” featuring Killator gets the trio together for a trap joint talking about how they’re uncomfortable to be around & the closing track “Lot Lizards” closes the Even Heathens’ debut for LSP with 1 more boom bap track with a bit of a funkier twist to it describing sexual relations with those exact type of women feeling reminiscent of Necro’s sex raps regarding the level of vulgarity.
With just half of 6 LPS and AN EP Deep in the past decade, the Pagan introduces themselves as the latest member of Team Snuff, in addition to increasing my expectations for the next product under SAW&AX by working on the experimental Drugz series with their best work so far. Crazy & J. Reno both killed it with their share of crafting, and Illtemper & King Gordy were the dirtiest.
