Buck’s lawyers mentioned health issues, pushing Buck’s court date to 2026 after postponing his assault and vandalism trial for nearly two years.

Young Buck can breathe a little before facing a jury in his assault and vandalism case – his attorney’s health issues have just given him six months.

The rapper’s trial was originally scheduled to hit January 12, 2026 in Sumner County, Tennessee.

Police said Buck stood out in the October 2020 battle with his ex-girlfriend Lucresia Neal, destroying property, putting his hand on Neal in an attempt to lash out at her.

Neil wasn’t quiet either. She allegedly fired a warning gun at Buck and was eventually booked for reckless danger.

Buck was released on a margin of $60,000, but the court imposed strict conditions, including bonds signed in regularly with bond supervisors.

Then, in 2022, Buck was arrested again for allegedly wasting Neil’s car.

According to police, he texted her saying he was pulling up and Young Buck started kicking it when she didn’t answer the door. After the rap star left, she found her car was damaged.

Police support her story through security videos. That stunt with his bond supervisor and missed meeting put him in jail for 30 days.

Fans of the young Buck were angry at the sentence, and protesters appeared in the pickets outside the court to shout out what they said was the dark behavior of local officials.

“We thank the protesters for their cooperation and express their views in a legal and respectful way. Our office remains committed to ensuring public safety while safeguarding the constitutional rights of every citizen,” Sheriff Eric Craddock ended on behalf of Buck after the demonstration.

Despite a lot of legal chaos, Buck is still giving up on music. He recently released a seven-track EP called “Target Practice”.
