An Australian rapper whom an Australian rapper met on Allday launched a trademark dispute last week and slammed K-Pop after discovering a new South Korean group called the Allday Project. He accused them of infringing on their stage name and referred to most of the genre as “s ###.”

Allday, born in Tomas Henry Gaynor, posted a screenshot of a news article about the group on social media and made it clear that he was not amused.

“People keep asking me this question,” he wrote. “I have a trademark on the name Allday. Maybe I don’t have a 20 billion stream like Kpop S ###, which sucks most of the time. But I do exist and own the trademark of my name. Prepare for the greatest legal battle ever.”

According to music, Gaynor registered his name in Australia’s trademark in June 2021. The document reportedly covers music distribution, vinyl, merchandise, live performances and related content. He also claimed that the trademark was extended to the United States, although it has not been independently verified.

After “Allday Project” stole my name for more than a decade, their bot fan army told me: “It doesn’t make sense because one of the members is Samsung’s heiress” pic.twitter.com/6rcr7n8k6i

Despite his harsh words, Allday seems to soften his position in a video released on Saturday (June 28), and filed for a lawsuit to be dropped if the tag behind Allday Project let him join the group.

“If I could join the band, Allday Project, I would give up on the lawsuit, and by the way, I would definitely win.”

He didn’t stop there and added: “That guy named Tazan has to be kicked out of the band. I want to be the main character.”

The demand for K-Pop supporters was not very good, and K-Pop supporters quickly viewed legal threats as propaganda.

One user wrote on X: “Stolen your name? They don’t even know you! You just want to make a shadow because you see their success. It’s no longer a delusion. Growing up.

The coed Allday Project, led by Black Label, made its official debut with the single “Famous” on June 23. The lineup includes Annie Moon, Tarzzan, Bailey, Woochan and Youngseo.
