Kevin Hart, with a sharp monologue on Monday (June 9), illuminating the 2025 BET Awards ceremony, aiming at Kanye West, Diddy and Cardi B, blending pop culture jabs with real-time drama.
“Oh, ###, it’s Kanye,” Hart said pretending to read on the phone. “Yes, he said he was ahead; he was waiting for someone to invite him to join.”
Hart added: “Hey! Don’t do it. We’ve all seen the movie Sinner, don’t let his ass be here so he can bite people so he can bite Playboi Carti again, okay?”
He followed, “No one let Kanye in, no! Not tonight!”

The joke mentions the ongoing consequences between West and Playboi Carti, which began earlier this year when Carti abandoned his third album, Music, without including West.
Things got worse in May when West released “Alive” with NBA Youngboy – Carti claimed to be stolen.
Hart also scanned Diddy, referring to what the tycoon calls a “freak” without having to directly name him.

Then came Cardi B and her boyfriend Stefon Diggs, who were recently trapped by gossip after the yacht video surfaced.
Hart didn’t back down: “No yachts, no boats. Cardi B, no pink stuff. What is that? What is that? Nothing. None of these stuff will be. Everyone will be hit tonight. We’re alive. This is a good time.”
