After three years of lawsuits, Young Thug’s YSL trial has no single murder ended, and now Da Fani Willis is facing a rebound in Fulton County (Georgia).
YSL trial ends without murder, Fani Willis faces backlash
Three years later, the YSL trial (young thugs and 27 other defendants face gang and racket charges), and no one was convicted of murder. Critics criticized Fulton County da Fani Willis for abuse of RICO laws and wasting taxpayers’ money. However, Da Willis believes her prosecution against Thugger and his colleagues have been successful.
In an interview with Atlanta 11 Alive published Thursday (June 5), Da Willis defended his record at the YSL trial and re-criticized the case for lack of murder. The senior prosecutor proved that crime in her community was at an all-time low due to the demolition of gangs, and her supporters praised her efforts.
“My message to taxpayers is: This is an amazing result,” she told the news outlet in the video below. “We have 19 convictions and the community is safer.”
“And look at the statistics – crime has dropped. So, what do I say to taxpayers? I said, my voters – who re-elected me with 68% of the vote – made me do a great job.” “We are making sure this community is safe. Crime is low in most parts of the United States. I think we are like third, and that’s because of the effort I put in against the gang.”
Da Fani Willis stood firmly and vowed to continue using the ant to close the law to convict the gangster when allegedly abused the RICO figure in the YSL trial.
“I will continue to rely on it – because it works, it works, it tells the jurors,” she said.

YSL RICO trial ends without murder
According to a report from FOX5 Atlanta, the YSL trial did not have murder after the defendant reached a plea agreement. YSL colleague McMullen pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated assault during a court hearing in Atlanta Thursday (June 5).
Christian Eppinger has only one defendant. His case involves Atlanta policeman David Rodgers in February 2022. Eppinger has been charged with shooting Rodgers six times and faces charges including attempted murder.
