Drake and Boots – Two words I never thought of combining were for investigation purposes, but we are here. I actually did research this time. I know, I know. Miracles happen every day, B.
I heard/see the rumor. I think Drake is allegedly cooking for his own quality boots, which is fun. Naturally, my mind encountered a frightening idea: Will Drake give up his Lugz version? That bird’s energy? Do boy dare? Oh boy! My insane thoughts!
The ad I stumbled upon had huge boot energy: bold, sturdy, but also somewhat pretentious. I’m just honest. That OVO owl perched on the tongue of that boot, just as if it belonged to a snowstorm commercial. I thought, “Does Aubrey want to go to Woodland’s footsteps?” To be honest, this is something Drake might try. He gave us the candle of fragrance, a Harry Potter necklace and a book of poetry-why not?
But then, I went Google: That’s not what’s going on.
It turns out that launching game mobile is actually a collaboration. Drake is not against the grain. He is working with Timberland to create OVO brand boots. Now this makes sense. I’m sure this drake x timbs mash-up is hyping up in my mouth.
Will I wear it? No. Dear, as a loyal East Coast boot connoisseur, I stick with OG yellow butter. There are no owls and no deviations. Unless it says Allhiphop is on the side, I’m not interested.

In Canada’s frozen tundra, these boots may vary. Honestly, I’m not angry. I just don’t want to see Drake singing heartbroken while tying OVO TIMB.
And, don’t forget the ghosts of birds’ past! The brothers almost brought Luge into rap history. These alternative boots are budget blessings for many cheaters! If Birdman and Drake were involved in some Lugz 2.0 collaborations, I might lose it.
