Joe Budden talks back to rap
On Sunday (June 1), the latest episode of the Joe Budden podcast was uploaded to YouTube. During the weekly chat, Joe reveals that he is like returning to rapper mode.
Joe Budden said on the 1:09:57 timestamp of the podcast below: “I want to rap.” “I do, I’m not lying. The only thing that stops me is that I don’t have beat packs and don’t ask for them. But if I ever asked the Alchemist or Alchemist or Chad West or one of the ni ** because I love… Jake… I just started hitting ni ** ni ** ni ** ni ** ni ** ni ** because I love, I know, I know, it will make me do something.”
Joe revealed a passage from Ransom that recently put him in this mode, and ran’s DM told Joe to go back to the game and would only put the battery on Joe’s back. “My name is Ransom, Royce, 38 SPESH, all of which are OK. We’re back!” said Joe.
“I feel like now, I can almost do a passion project.” “I have never done a passion project in my life. What does it look like or sound like?”
Joe Budden released his breakthrough single “Pump It Up” in 2003 and will continue to work on multiple projects as a solo artist and member of Slaughterhouse. Since he started podcasts in 2015, he has released only one album, Rage & The Machine, which dropped in 2016 before exiting the competition.
