The escapee accused of killing rapper Chris King was detained in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 29) in connection with a fatal shooting in a robbery outside Nashville Music Studio in April 2024.
Adrian Cameron Jr, 22, said authorities.
The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department said King and his friends were targeting the rappers were shot and killed during a robbery on Hayes Street.
At the time of the shooting, Cameron had set out in Bond for another 2021 homicide case. Shortly after Chris King’s death, he was indicted but managed to escape the captives before this week.
Investigators traced Cameron to Los Angeles, where he was arrested and nothing happened.
Chris King has a close relationship with artists like Trippie Redd, Justin Bieber and Machine Gun Kelly.
His death prompted the entire music industry to pour out sadness. “Love you. Brother. This man is hurt. Please let his family pray.”
Trippie Redd posted several tributes, while Keke Palmer remembers Chris King’s entertainment and early work.
Cameron now faces murder and robbery charges in Tennessee and is expected to be extradited in the coming weeks.
