Snoop Dogg has turned marijuana culture and hip-hop nostalgia into high-end art by collaborating with visual artist Erica Kovitz, showing his smoky dull cockroaches as a collectible for the Beverly Hills Gallery exhibition.
Titled Notorious: Joint Ventures, the project debuted on 9891 S. Santa Monica Blvd in June 2025 and showed off a series of pigment panels embedded in Snoop Dogg’s personal Blunts.
Each piece is wrapped in plastic and chrome agent and infused with cannabis residues and signed by the rap icon himself. The collaboration brings hip-hop souvenirs with contemporary art to give buyers a literal meaning to the lifestyle of the West Coast legendary figures.

Kovitz preserves cockroaches in acrylic and mounts them on pigment panels to create a visual and aromatic experience.
The gallery displays a new chapter in the collection of famous people, and personal artifacts meet art.
The idea of turning the use of blunt ends into items worthy of attention may draw attention, but it also reflects how marijuana and hip-hop evolved into cultural institutions.
