Almost halfway through 2025, June shows a lot of hope as a big month for rap releases.
Lil Wayne prepares his long-awaited Tha Carter VI album
After the 2025 Super Bowl controversy, Lil Wayne has finally fulfilled fans’ desire for new music with his long-awaited album Tha Carter VI. It has been five years since Tune gave up on the funeral album, after Tha Carter V from tha CarterV. New Orleans rap legend confirmed that C6 will drop in February on June 6. Last month, he revealed that the new LP will feature MGK, WYCLEF, Billy Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Bono and more. “June 6 we’re C6,” Wayne recently commented on Instagram. “Carter June 6, our C6 is not a problem that I can’t. June 6.”

Young Thug Gift uyi Scuti Album
The young thug returns outside. After struggling with legal issues for more than two years, Thugger will return eight months after his new album Uy Scuti was imprisoned in June. The Atlanta rapper began launching the highly anticipated album in March when he appeared in the Miami Heat under the name “Uy Scuti”. In April, the thug announced that the album would drop in May before making its debut as a champion of future title single “Money On Money.” Uy Scuti is the name of one of the largest stars in the known universe. “I think I’m one of the biggest stars,” Thug said in a recent interview. “I’m not in this world.”

Russ releases W! ld album
Lars continued to become an independent power. He will be on his sixth solo album W on June 27! ld pops up. Two years after the album Santiago, Russ’ latest effort will be released in Hot. To promote the album, Russ will go on a wild tour. The tour will include 16 dates and feature special guests.
BAS returns with HICS Melanchronica Album
After dropping, we only talk about the real sh*t when F**k in 2023, and BAS will return on June 16 with the new album Melanchronica. The release is a collaborative project with the English electronic band The HICS. Bas has released two songs in its upcoming release. “Norbit” featuring AB-Soul and “Erewhon” with Saba. There are 10 songs in total in the project.
