Lil Durk added new charges of stalking at the federal grand jury in Los Angeles, resulting in his already serious murder death, which could put the rapper in life in prison.
The updated indictment returned on May 1 (May 1), accusing Chicago natives of killing Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, a relative of Rival Rapper Quando Rondo in August 2022.
The shooting that killed Lul Pab happened in spacious sunlight at a busy Los Angeles intersection, allegedly in revenge on King Feng’s death.
Prosecutors said the new charge reflects Lil Durk’s alleged involvement in a targeted campaign to the death of Lul Pab.
The government insisted that the case had nothing to do with his music and removed major elements from earlier documents, including lyrics that mentioned Lil Durk.
His legal team has previously proposed lyrics to challenge him as evidence, and their deletion may indicate a change in prosecutor’s strategy. Nevertheless, the government insists that Lil Durk remain in custody, believing he posed a threat to public safety and could run away before trial.
Prosecutors cited earlier court proceedings to support their claim that he remains dangerous to witnesses and the wider community.
In response to the new allegations, Lil Durk’s attorneys requested more time to prepare for a reply to the court. They said they received an updated indictment notice one day before the trial date, asking them to request another bond until before the trial.
The defense demanded an extension until May 6 (May 6) to resolve new legal and factual issues raised by the stalking allegations.
