Birdman is opening his roster, revealing that cash currency records have made billions of dollars in revenue from their careers as Drake, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, which credits the trio to help turn his label into a financial powerhouse.

Cash Money co-founder breaks the numbers behind his empire built with a star-studded lineup when appearing on Nick Cannon’s “Cannon’s Class” podcast. According to Birdman, the trio made more than $2 billion.

“There are $2 billion between Drake, Nicky and Wayne,” Birdman said. “Over a billion dollars. Hundreds of millions of dollars are guaranteed.”

He also claims that no other artist in the music industry has brought such wealth to the label.

This is not the first time Birdman talks about the massive amount of revenue associated with artists.

Back in 2021, he told the Big Facts podcast that he personally distributed $1.4 billion after he signed a deal with General Records to the three.

“When Universal brought me a luggage, brother, I can honestly say I gave Wayne about $40-500 million, Drake got about $500 million, and Nicky got about $300, and $400 million from my pocket,” he said. “No hats. If you don’t believe them, ask them.”

Birdman also highlighted the long-term value of having music rights and explained how cash funds continue to profit from the catalog in the 2021 interview.

“I just started to let people taste my ###,” he explained. “There are a lot of ways to make money from your Masters. We only generate $200 to $30 million per year on our Masters.”

Birdman apologizes to Lille Wayne after long-running legal issues

Despite its enormous success, Birdman’s relationship with Lil Wayne has been plagued for years due to legal disputes.

The two reportedly reached a settlement in 2018 that paid Wayne more than $10 million and controlled his control of Tha Carter V, which has been postponed for years.

Later that year, Birdman offered a public apology when he saw the two reconcile on stage.

“I know this day is g’ coming, but I don’t know when it’s coming,” he told the crowd before praising Lil Wayne. “I want to apologize to my N ####.”
