Tony Rock wasted Will Smith’s new album while also claiming he is using the incident, which his brother happened several years ago at the Academy Awards to boost LP’s commercial performance.
When asked about Smith’s 20 years off, the actor and comedian did not back down during a lively interview with TMZ. Smith’s latest project, based on a true story, has been the headlines of its deep personal lyrics, especially those who quoted his infamous Oscars slap on Tony’s brother Chris Rock in 2022.
“It’s a good time to be a comic,” Tony Rock said while talking to the paparazzi at the arrival level Los Angeles International Airport. “Will Smith has an album, it’s AP ######################################################### said. He spoke to the Oscars. It’s a good time to be a comic now.”
Rock elaborated on his statement, revealing that he was in Smith who urged everyone to move on and revisited the special issues of the event in music.
“Everyone kept telling me to stop talking about it, but then he put it on the song,” he said. “So that gave me a way to talk about it again.”
Tony Rock said Will Smith’s new album is Sh*tty and Trash because he called on Will Smith to use Oscar Slap, involving his brother Chris Rock to sell his new album.

Despite the media hype, Tony made it clear that he wasn’t even willing to let the album spin.
“I haven’t heard of the album’s trash, but I refuse to listen,” he said. “The fact that he brought the album up? Well, it’s like trying to sell the album.”
Tony doesn’t have a sarcasm when questioning Smith’s motives, suggesting that the lyric film star is moving for the drama.
“I’m surprised he didn’t speak to the drug dealer,” he said. “The prison and shot nine times. He tried to sell the album.”
Still, Tony says he is a lifelong hip-hop fan, even praising him where he deserves it.
“His best job is… ‘Brand new funk’, I’ll give it to him,” he said.
Tony talks about his just defending the common perception of brothers, which he says has nothing to do with loyalty, it has something to do with facts.
“I know people think I’m just protecting my brother,” he said. “I’m the guardian of my brother, that’s all. You can talk about things without having to touch on emotions.”
As for the album being helpful to the tough relationship between Smith and Chris, Tony is blunt.
“That’s it.” “They’re not going to be friends. No one loses a lot of money behind this. My brother actually makes more money. Is Netflix special? Yes. Not that no one hurts.
