Donald Trump recognized his former daughter Vanessa Trump’s relationship with golf icon Tiger Woods.
In a White House video posted on YouTube, he talked about the new romance, calling them “good” and jointly advocated for their future.
“I love tigers, I love Vanessa,” Trump said in the clip. Woods contacted him “a few months ago.”
Trump went on to describe his rapport with the 15-time Grand Slam title, saying he has a very special and very good relationship with the Tigers. ”
He added: “I played golf with him last month and he was a great guy and a great athlete.”
Trump revealed that Woods personally introduced him to the relationship.
“I said, ‘Tiger, very good, very good,’” he said. “I’m both happy. Make them both happy.”
Woods publicly confirmed the relationship on Instagram last month.
“Love is in the air, and living by my side is better!” he wrote. “We look forward to our journey of living together.”
Vanessa Trump used to marry Donald Trump Jr. for 13 years before finalizing a divorce in 2018. The ex-husband shared five children.
The two reportedly began dating in November 2024, with speculation earlier this year that Woods officially announced on social media.
Tiger Woods and Donald Trump have a long friendship and have seen golf regularly over the years. Trump awarded Woods the Medal of Freedom in 2019.
