Sza wasted time after Chappell Roan made her a dream collaborator when she appeared on her dad podcast.
The Grammy-winning singer shared a clip from a Roan interview on her Instagram, which clearly shows that admiration is mutual.
“In fact, when I saw it written until I wrote this sentence, until I saw it come out of her mouth, because it was dead, because it was dead.”
Ron didn’t hesitate when host Alex Cooper asked her to name the artist she wanted to work with.
Without explanation, she simply said, “sza.”
Sza has always praised her artistic quality for Roan. After Roan performed on Lollapalooza last year, Sza praised her on Instagram, writing: “She made me want to create new music and art forever.”
The snooze singer also recently spoke about her admiration for Roan during her appearance on the Jennifer Hudson show, calling her one of her favorite music storytellers.
Sza also revealed that she came up with the idea of working with Taylor Swift as they crossed the path at the Grammys.
“I think I’d love to write something with her. I love her storytelling. She’s willing to accept it. I think she’s great. She’s great.”
SZA’s Instagram post has fans hoping to work with Roan, although official plans have not been announced yet.
