It’s been about two and a half years since Nav’s Demons were protected by Angels’ albums, and it’s actually the longest breakthrough Canadian rapper has shot between albums since his debut in 2018. His fifth studio album, OMW2 Rexdale, was released tonight.
The title is a reference for Rexdale in Toronto. Playboi Carti and Don Toliver were among the album’s guests and could have had a highly anticipated collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, which could not have been laid off due to sample clearance issues.
