Mase seems to have released a new album this year.
The former bad boy rapper revealed the news on a sports talk show on March 7, which is where he chats with Stat Baby and former football player Maurice Clarett.
“Mo, what’s the benefit? Can you all hear music,” he asked his host. “I’m listening to songs Kira picks out of what I’ve made,” which means Cam’ron is helping him curate the selection of all the tracks that will make the album editing.
“No, no, no. These are the songs he picked, so I’m listening to his lineup,” he further said. “It’s going crazy. We have to choose the right record.”
When asked about the release of the new album, he said, “May 25. The first day of Didi’s trial. We’re descending. Do you like it? You asked me to put it there. I won’t put it there, but mo, you let me do it.”
Maybe Mase is wrong, because the first day of the DIDDY trial was actually fixed in Manhattan on May 5 for extortion and trafficking. He further said that it would be a three-piece album. “We’re even now,” Metz continued.
Mase has not released a new album since 2004’s “Welcome Back”.
